Microphone access
Open iPhone Settings, select EchoDare, and enable Microphone. Return to the app and start a new take.
Couldn't hear that clearly
Move to a quieter place, keep the phone about 15–30 cm away, and avoid covering the microphone. Technical failures do not use your competitive take.
Local data
Temporary recordings are removed after the active session. Removing the app deletes its remaining local anonymous app data.
Shared takes and cloud deletion
Share My Take uploads a short challenge video for people with the complete link. Share Score Only uploads no recording or video. Challenges expire after seven days, and expired media and challenge records are removed by the next daily cleanup run.
For early deletion, a privacy request, or a content report, email support@echodare.app and include the challenge link. Do not attach the original recording or send a microphone file.
